Davey Wigley Jr., or more professionally known as G4E Xaviee, is a musical artist born and raised in the twin island federation of St. Kitts & Nevis on September 6th, 2001. he always knew that music was his passion and that is what he made his career path. Beginning his early days in the countryside living with his grandmother and grandfather, he developed a love for nature, more specifically, animals. He would help his late grandfather to herd sheep and goats. Through this bonding time with his grandfather, he was able to discover the sounds of local calypso as his grandfather coincidentally used to cut records back in his day as well as play instruments. More specifically, the guitar. G4E Xaviee’s dad also introduced a young G4 to an influx of different musical flavors from Reggae to Soca to Pop to Jazz to Hip-Hop, he made sure his son knew he had a diverse taste in music. Not only music of the current time but older music. It was through his father that the artist learned about some of his influences and icons such as Michael Jackson, Tupac, Usher, and much more. Then after his mom came with the church grooves and ballads, the rest was history. Music was now a part of his core being. Using music as therapy, an escape, to communicate, music was just a way of life. The artist first dabbled in music in his last year of high school and with practice, dedication and patience, he was able to perfect his craft.
